Great...although...

We own both the Peapod and the Phil&Ted's Traveller Crib. My daughter likes to play in the Peapod but will not go to sleep in it. Maybe when she is a bit older that'll change -she is 23months. I wish the traveller crib had been available sooner The first night my daughter slept in it she complained a little but went to sleep after 5 minutes. I was perplexed by the fact that the instructions tell you that you should place the mattress in between the 2 plastic sheets. I guess because of safety reasons?. But that did not work for us at all. Every time my daughter would move the plastic would make this awful noise and wake her up. Not good. Next day we took the mattress out of in between the plastic sheets and placed the mattress in a regular crib fitted sheet then she slept all through the night. No complaints. Happy toddler! It's a good product that shall last us at least another year. It's not the most intuitive assembly so try it out once before your trip. After that you'll be ready to go and able to assemble it in about 5 minutes.
Love it!

I love this! It looked like it was gonna be hard to assemble at first, but it ended up being easy. My son is comfortable and it is easy to pack up as well. Awesome product!

My kid loves sleeping in this traveller!
huge improvement over pack'n'play
(28.06.2010)
This cot is a great design. It takes up a fraction of space compared to a pack'n'play. Our (very tall) 2 year old daughter has been sleeping in it for about 2 months while our family has been doing extensive travel.
The set up is difficult the first few times until you get it figured out. The instructions are not written well.
The biggest flaw is that there is not a removable sheet. I like the idea of the first reviewer to take the mattress out of its zippered sleeve and put a sheet over it. I think I'll try to sew one myself to fit the mattress.
Overall we've been extremely pleased with this traveller. I would recommend it to anyone.

The Traveller is definitely the most compact + portable cot we could find on the market at the time we looked. Our son (now 21 months) has slept happily in it from the age of 1 month when we had our first overnight away from home.
Zip-round mesh was great for peace of mind when travelling to places with slight risk of mosquito-borne diseases.
Setup is tricky the first couple of times but easy after that. The only problems we can identify are with the mattress: as mentioned by someone else we have taken to removing it from the sleeve in order to put a fitted sheet on. We reckon we've come up with a design solution for this, if P&T are interested?
The other problem is with the mattress deflating. We had the mattress replaced once after identifying a leak near the valve, and the same thing seems to be happening again. Might chase that up...

Great bed, adapts to absolutely any situation, indoors and outdoors. Never regretted it, and would definetively advice it as best buy. HOWEVER, there's such an easy-to-do emprovement necessary to make it just perfect: please make the lateral zip closing with two zipper heads, it would be much more easy to use in certain cases. And, while the baby is small, it would let to have a easy acces to the baby to resolve some little night problems without making noise while unzipping the side of the bed.
This would be of a great help and not so complicated to modify.
But it's the only regret. This bed served us perfectly in lots of situations. It can be installed in places no other bed can go, and be perfectly safe and stable at virtually any surface.
Love it!

We absolutely love this travel crib! We have traveled extensively with our son and have never had a problem with it. After one or two practice runs , it's a breeze to put together. We always put our own crib sheet on the mattress outside of the plastic sleeve as I couldn't imagine having him sleep on the noisy plastic or a non-fitted sheet on top of the plastic. The fact that the folded up crib is super light and small enough to fit inside a regular suitcase makes it so easy to travel with. I highly recommend this product for anyone who travels with young children.

Love the cot! Ideal for travelling as it's so fast to assemble/pack away. We always use the mattress out of the sleeve with a fitted sheet. (Tesco UK sell a moses basket size that fits very well.)
Fab!

We just used this cot travelling through Europe and it was great. It actually fitted inside one of the large suitcases it was so compact which meant one less thing to carry. Easy to put up. The feet things get in the way a bit (only complaint) and like others we never put the mattress between the layers, too noisy!
Great

I love this travel crib. I use it at home Asa playpen as well as for travel. I have a few suggestions one for p&t which is to make a flap to go over the zipper when the top mesh cover is off. My daughter is just at the right height to suck on it, so it would ease my mind to have it out of sight. The other is for consumers, I use 2 pillowcases to cover the mattress, one on each end, flannel is extra nice.
